The Oakridge School Early Childhood Center Students Show their Talents
Early Childhood students performed for their parents, grandparents and friends on November 12 and 13. What great stars they were as they sang, danced and some even played instruments!
Preschoolers showed off their rhythm and dance moves to I’m a Little Teapot, Down By The Banks, Pancho, Pancho Tiene un Rancho, Boa Constrictor, Five Little Speckled Frogs, and I Love You, a Bushel and a Peck.
Pre-kindergarteners entertained their audience with the songs and motions to Bear Hunt, Down By The Bay, Los Pollitos and You Are My Sunshine. All were amazed when they played Mary Had a Little Lamb on the hand bells! Each Pre-kindergarten child sang a solo in the song A Little Boy and Girl Went Walking.
The boys and girls in kindergarten shared their talents singing Cool To Be in School, Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, Boom, Boom, Ain’t it Great to Be Crazy, You Gotta Have Hugs and Wonderful Day. They performed Rock ‘n Roll Rhythm Band with instruments and had the audience rocking along! Their greatest skills were used when they sang “A” You’re Adorable using American Sign Language.
