Recently, the 7th grade students enjoyed a fabulous class trip down to the Hill Country. Each year, 7th grade students and teachers head to Austin and San Antonio to enjoy 3 nights and 4 days of science, Texas history, and good old-fashioned fun. Parents dropped their students off early in the morning so that the students can load two chartered busses to head south of the Metroplex.
During the day, students visited fun educational sites such as the Texas State Museum, the Alamo, SeaWorld, and Natural Bridge Caverns. At night, students returned to the Flying L Dude Ranch for some great food and entertainment. Students watched a trick-roper cowboy, danced the night away at “Ghost Town”, and competed in the ever-so-popular Cowboy Olympics. While the students and chaperones were exhausted by Friday, the fun memories will forever bond the 7th grade class of 2020.
