NCAA COLLEGE ATHLETICE PLACEMENT WORKSHOP: We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming NCAA College Athletic Placement Workshop, which promises to shed light on the exciting world of college athletics and provide you with essential insights into the recruitment process. This event will be held on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for Meet the Coaches and a 6:30 p.m. presentation in the Flavin Fine Arts Performance Hall.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE AND TURKEY TOSS: Our Oakridge community stands strong in serving others. This is particularly true during the Thanksgiving season. Please have your child bring canned goods this week and next to donate to Mission Arlington. Our goal is for each student to bring 20 cans.
We also hope you join us from 9:00am-11:00am on Monday, November 25 at Mission Arlington. Our service is to remove the frozen turkeys from the walk-in freezers and begin the thawing so they are ready for Thanksgiving Day. Bring a jacket and some gloves and join us! Families, friends, alumni, and students of all ages are welcome.
9TH GRADE TRIP: We are so excited for this incredible and wonderful trip!
Please read the Itinerary and Packing List. The two Waiver Forms need to be signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to the US office. All medicines will be distributed by Mr. Andersen. If your child has an inhaler or Epi Pen, he/she should keep one on their person and have an extra turned into Nurse Kim.
Students not attending the trip will attend all of their multi-grade level classes. This is a great opportunity for students to remediate and review material with their teachers.
