CHECKPOINT 1.1 The first progress report of the year will be published on Friday afternoon, September 20.. Students and parents can view the progress report under classes and reports on their student and parent portal pages. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to view his/her progress, discuss any changes that need to be made, connect with teachers with questions/concerns, and set goals for the first 9-week marking period.

CHECKOUT PROCEDURES: Anytime a student needs to leave campus early a parent must email Candace Blake to let the US office know. Once the office knows, the teachers are notified and then the student can dismiss from the class without disrupting the teacher and be on time for their checkout. It is best practice to give 24 hours notice. Giving less than an hour notice may result in classroom disruption and delayed dismissal.

LAST FRIDAY: The Upper School dismisses at 12:00 on Friday, September 27. Our Last Fridays are used for valuable programming. This Last Friday is no exception. Our Student Council will provide pancake breakfast from 8:30-9:30.. We are also fortunate to have the UTA Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Program here for our Upper School students. They will have sessions and economic and financial literacy games for our students to enjoy. Their mission is to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to navigate the complex world of personal finance. Special thanks to senior Maria Jaramillo Davila for connecting us with this program and helping in organizing the event for our students!

FLU VACCINATION CLINIC: Wednesday, September 25th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in the Fine Arts Foyer. This is open to faculty, staff, students, & families.
