WINTER FORMAL:  Thank you to our Upper School Student Council for hosting our Winter Formal.  The dance is at the White Room in Pantego on Saturday, February 1 from 7:00-10:00pm.  All Upper School students are invited and students may bring a non-Oakridge guest provided they fill out a guest form in the office.  It is not necessary to have a date, so just come and enjoy the fun!  Purchase tickets here. 

PROGRESS REPORT: The 3.1 Progress Reports are available on the student and parent portals. The 3rd marking period is often difficult to navigate with a return to a new semester, gloomy weather, and active extracurricular schedules.  It is early in the new marking period, so there are not many grades in for most classes.  As more grades are entered a student’s average can fluctuate. This information is important for our students to realize as they put their best foot forward in the new semester. Please connect with teachers if you have questions or concerns.  The Upper School office is happy to assist.

CHEER NATIONALS: Congrats to our Oakridge Competition Cheer Team as they placed 3rd in the NCA High School Nationals Championship this past weekend!

ALUMNI BASKETBALL EVENT: Oakridge alumni and our boys and girls basketball teams attended the SMU vs Cal basketball game this week.  Mitchell Holmes (SMU) and Rytis Petraitis (Cal) are both Oakridge alumni and their teams competed at SMU.  It was incredible to have two Division 1 basketball players as Oakridge alumni!  Thanks to Mrs. Emmert and our Advancement team for organizing this event.
