We hope you have seen many pictures from the Upper School Culture Celebration Day. This tradition gives all of our students the opportunity to educate and learn about various world cultures. The celebration includes food, activities, traditions, and often cultural attire from around the globe. We enjoyed having our eighth graders join the celebration this year. A huge thank you to our coordinators this year, Iman Yunus '25 and Suhani Singh '25, sister of the founder, Gurleen Singh '20.

PROM and AFTER PROM PARTY NIGHT(APP) are coming soon! The fun of planning is underway. The APP coordinator has rolled out Free Dress week. It is March 6-10 for $50. You may pay online here. This week helps to fund a safe and entertaining evening for our 11th and 12th graders after prom and for our 10th graders to join the fun! If you wish to volunteer or donate to the party, please get in touch with Shelley Hodges, shelley.hodges@sbcglobal.net.

The March Calendar is below. THE BEST way to get a snapshot of the month ahead for the Upper School is to go over this calendar with your child, add the dates to your calendars, and be sure they earmark important dates themselves. Read the Upcoming Dates section at the end of this email for more details.

The girls' varsity tennis team played FWCD Wednesday at the Country Day campus. Our girls lost the overall match but played some solid tennis. Eva Kovachev beat her #1 singles opponent (8-0). She then played a doubles match with Simran Singhal. Eva and Simran won their match (8-0). Suhani Singh, Chloe Polit, Addison Willis, Anna Trimble, Sarah Jayne Frank, and Catherine Wang did a great job and should be commended on their efforts. Way to go, Owls!
