Dear Oakridge Family,

As we approach this Thanksgiving break, I am reminded of the power of gratitude and its deep connection to our mission at The Oakridge School. This time of year offers us the chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate the people, experiences, and opportunities that shape our lives.

Our mission calls us to inspire students to seek their full potential. Thanksgiving reminds us that this journey of inspiration is rooted in relationships—with our families, our teachers, our classmates, and our broader community. It is in these connections that we find the support to grow, the courage to face challenges, and the joy of shared success.

For our students, this break is an opportunity to recharge, spend meaningful time with loved ones, and return with renewed energy for the weeks ahead. For our faculty and staff, it is a moment to reflect on the profound impact they have on the lives of our students and families. And for all of us, it is a time to embrace gratitude for the vibrant learning community we have built together.

As we celebrate this season, let us also think about the ways we can embody our mission even more fully—by fostering kindness, appreciating the excellence in every individual, and creating spaces where all feel valued and supported.
