Dear Oakridge Friends,

We are the Hernandez family and have the privilege to take over Mr. Burgy’s newsletter portion this week! 

We are excited to share that the Oakridge Fund will look different this year. We will be focusing our efforts into a consolidated, 5-week campaign called TEAM OAKRIDGE, all in for 100%.  This condensed, 5-week effort, in September and October has one focused goal: reaching 100% participation of Oakridge families, faculty and staff, and board of regents.  The 5-week campaign format will allow us to spend the remainder of the year focused on building relationships in our community and strengthening our team. 

Another change this year is directing your gifts and pledges to take place through the Oakridge website instead of the North Texas Giving Day platform.

In the coming weeks, you will hear from Team Oakridge Captains within your grade on how to join TEAM OAKRIDGE. We truly hope you feel like you are part of the Oakridge family, this team, as much as we do, and that you will consider participating in Team Oakridge so we can continue striving for excellence for our school and our children.
