Dear Oakridge Family,

In the blink of an eye, another school year has come and gone. This past school year was filled with unbelievable triumphs and unforgettable moments that truly have showcased the strength of our community. From the dedicated efforts of our outstanding teachers and staff to the unwavering support of our parents, this year has truly been an outstanding testament to the magic of The Oakridge School. What stands above all, however, is the hard work, determination, and perseverance our students have displayed throughout the year.

I am consistently reminded of the importance of tradition at Oakridge. From our Homecoming parade and fireworks, to the building of relationships with our Junior and Senior buddies, to seeing our Seniors make their final “Owl Walk,” to experiencing the Class of 2024 walk across the stage while hearing of their Oakridge journey, the celebration of our students is at the forefront of what we do every day. It is not easy, for our mission calls us to both challenge and nurture our students. We are stewards of their emotional development as well as their cognitive skills.

Whether you are embarking on exciting adventures this summer or simply enjoying a well-deserved rest, I hope the coming months are filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. We look forward to seeing you at Summer Camp this summer and again in August for another wonderful school year!

Warmly,

Matt Burgy
