Dear Oakridge Family,

Tomorrow will be a day of immense celebration for our school as we graduate the Class of 2024. As you come on campus this week, I hope you are able to take a tour of the Quad, where our graduates' college destinations are proudly on display. Our 65 seniors have been awarded over $13.5 million in scholarships to 161 colleges from coast to coast and border to border. The colleges and universities that our graduates will be attending are impressive. They will allow our graduates to experience diverse opportunities in which they will continue to hone their talents and skills. Six of our graduates will be moving on to compete in intercollegiate athletics in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, golf, field hockey, and volleyball. 13 of our graduates are National Merit Commended Scholars, College Board National Recognition Scholars, or National Merit Scholars. Many more are moving on to perform in the Arts while in college. Their accomplishments are impressive. I am often asked what is the value proposition of the Oakridge experience? In many ways, you can quantify it as I have. An average of $200K per graduate in scholarship funding is pretty impressive…however, you can't quantify who these young people have become through the experience. That, by itself, is priceless.
