Greetings, Middle School Families,

This week our group of Middle School scholars had an opportunity to compete in the  Private School Interscholastic Association (PSIA) State Meet. We had student representatives for grades 2nd - 8th and competed in a host of categories which included impromptu speaking, spelling, on-site drawing, number sense, oral interpretation, and maps, charts, and graphs. 

We are especially proud of Mantaaj Sandhu for winning 2nd place in the Spelling competition and Akul Singhal for winning the 6th place medal in Number Sense! Also, congrats to Celine Ozkaya for earning Honorable Mention in On-Site Drawing. All of our other participants did a fabulous job and received a participant's ribbon for advancing to the state competition. We are extremely grateful for Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. deWinter, Mrs. Hoffer, Mrs. Anderson, and a host of parent volunteers for coaching and investing in our scholars. 

On Thursday evening, our Upper House Musical Theater students put on a Stellar Performance of Into the Woods. The students entertained the audience with beautiful singing, comedy, and phenomenal acting. We are so proud of the entire cast. Watch out Broadway, our owls have some amazing talent.

The students enjoyed their Boosterthon popcorn party and non-uniform dress day on Wednesday. We are so proud of all of their hard work and commitment to raising funds for their school. Finally, we are so excited about all of the upcoming celebrations, class trips, and events that will be happening over the next few weeks.
