Greetings, Middle School Families, 

We are so excited about the amazing things that we have in store in the Middle School for 2024. We are truly looking forward to class trips, field trips, various showcases, and recognition ceremonies. 

This Sunday, January 7, we will host our Oakridge Admission Showcase. This event is not just for prospective families, but also an opportunity for current families to have one-on-one conversations with Division Heads, connect with other families, and preview the next grade level or division. We hope that you are able to take advantage of this special event for a sneak peek of all of the amazing things that are happening at Oakridge in the upcoming school year.

Our STEM Showcase which will be held on January 26, will include science experiments conducted by approximately 30 middle school students, as well as students from other divisions. These phenomenal entries range from a variety of fields including biomedical science, physics, engineering, and botany. 

Our 7th and 8th graders will have an opportunity to attend an overnight class trip this spring. We are in the process of finalizing the details and will provide an update in the upcoming week. We hope your child is able to participate as this is a great opportunity for team building, bonding, and making lifetime memories. 

In February, we will host our first Oratorical Showcase. This is a unique platform where students can showcase their artistic expression through speech, poetry, song, or prose. Whether students are seasoned speakers or this will be their first time, we encourage students to share their unique perspectives via this platform as we inspire them to cultivate Community, Culture, and Celebration. Please be on the lookout for more information.
