Tamika Dees, Head of Middle School
October 18, 2024
Greetings, Middle School Families,
Homecoming 2024 is one for the books. The dress-up themed days, door decorating competition, parade, and pep rally, truly embodied the dynamic spirit of Oakridge!
We started the week off with Dean’s Day during recess. The quad was filled with music as students ate cotton candy, played four square, volleyball, pickleball, and go-kart racing. They were all so adorable in their Super Mario gear, dressed as Luigi, Princess Peach, and of course Mario. On Wednesday we rocked “Tetris Day” by wearing different colors to represent each grade level. Thursday we were sporty in our favorite team jerseys, socks, hats, and t-shirts.
The grand finale included students from ECC to Upper School pepping up our football team at the parade and pep rally for the homecoming game against El Paso Cathedral. We are looking forward to continuing the celebration tonight at 7 pm. Please come out and enjoy the festivities. It is truly a memorable event you don’t want to miss!
