Greetings, Middle School Families,

Although we are off to a chilly start this Spring semester in Middle School, we are super excited about all of the wonderful opportunities that are being afforded to our students this year. Our students in Mrs. Jewett’s art classes are hard at work creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces that will be donated to the Oakridge Super Supper Auction event. Beyond the acquisition of being an auctioned piece, the purpose of this project is to instill a profound appreciation for collaboration, creativity, and the power of art as a conduit for personal and societal narratives. The ideas and designs have been solely inspired by our middle school scholars with each piece symbolizing the intersection of student and community engagement.

In addition to visual arts, students in grades 5 - 8 will be participating in our 2nd Annual Middle School talent show at the end of the month. We are looking forward to our students showcasing their talent through music, ballet, dance, among a number of other exciting acts.

Finally, in case you missed the social media highlight, we’re thrilled to announce that The Oakridge School has been ranked #1 Most Diverse Private High School in Dallas-Fort Worth and #2 Best Private High School in Tarrant County. This recognition highlights our commitment to inspiring students to seek their full potential in academics, the arts, and athletics. We cultivate social responsibility, respect, and integrity in a challenging, nurturing environment. We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and staff, who make excellence possible! Thank you to our Oakridge community for your continued support and dedication. Together, we make The Oakridge School a place where students thrive!

Let’s Go Owls!
