Dear Lower School Parents,

I hope you have big plans for Fall Break! It is good to use these days to be with your family, enjoying a break without homework, early bedtimes, and morning traffic. If you aren't leaving town, there is a varsity football game tonight. The theme is “Give Trinity Valley the Boot,” so western wear and cowboy boots are encouraged!

We return from Fall Break to celebrate Homecoming next week, October 15-18. These four days have special dress themes for all students. Lower School students enjoy all of the festivities of Homecoming, especially walking in the Homecoming Parade on Friday at 10 a.m. and the Homecoming Pep Rally at 10:50. Parents are welcome to attend the parade and pep rally.  Also, Friday is an early out day. Lower School is dismissed at 11:30. 

For families who need extended care on Friday, the Owls' Nest program will be available for preschool through 8th grade students until 5:45 p.m. The cost for extended care on early dismissal days is $45 per student.

All families, including those already enrolled in Owls' Nest for regular dismissal days, must complete the Google form to confirm attendance on October 18. Students will need to bring lunch, and preschoolers should also bring their nap mats.

The Homecoming game begins at 7:00 p.m. There will be food trucks, class tents, and a fireworks show to end the evening (the lights go out immediately after the Alma Mater). We hope all of our families can join us for this memorable night.
