Sarah Schecter, Head of Lower School

May 12, 2023

Dear Lower School Parents,

Lower School teachers look forward to our graduation ceremony every year. We are eager to see the college signs in the Quad, and we love greeting all of our former students as they march through the Lower School halls on the way to the SAC for graduation. It is a bit sad to see them leave the nest, as they spread their wings toward college; however, we are always proud of them and the small part we played in their success. It is surprising how quickly the time flies between our clap up in fourth grade and graduation.

Lower School students enjoy reading the names of schools, both familiar and unknown, in the Quad. Seeing the signs in the Quad helps Lower School students get a glimpse of all of the different kinds of colleges and universities that are available to them, and they begin thinking about their futures and where they might attend. The first graders especially like to look for the school their Senior buddies plan to attend.

There are so many special days between now and the end of the year. Be sure to check the information below to be prepared.

Sincerely,

Sarah Schecter
