Dear Lower School Parents,

 The first and second grade show this week was entertaining! Everyone seemed to enjoy the music, dancing and antics of our talented first and second graders. It was great to have so many of you in attendance!

 Tuesday, at Parliament, we had two guest speakers from Upper School. Zahn Coakley and Benji Fielder spoke about good sportsmanship. This is a timely topic since Field Day is Friday, May 5. Zahn and Benji made an impact on the Lower School students, as they reminded them to be humble in wins and self-controlled in losses. It is a joy to watch our students develop and grow in so many important ways.

Join us Friday, May 5, for an evening of performances, exhibits, food, and fun as we celebrate our scholar artists. A variety of performances will be shared throughout the evening, beginning at 5 p.m. and concluding at 8:30 p.m. Students from every division will be represented.

We will have inflatables and games in the quad, along with food for purchase. Fine Arts Night is a fun come-and-go event for the entire family. We hope to see you there!

The Oakridge School is hosting a concession stand fundraiser at the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth May 24 - 28, and we are asking members from the Oakridge community to volunteer.
