Dear Lower School Parents,

Most of you have not had an opportunity to see it, but every morning between 7:30 – 7:45 a.m. in the MAC there is an abundance of lively conversation, smiles and laughter. Lower School students who arrive before 7:45 sit with classmates and visit or read. We intentionally do not allow Lower School students to use iPads during this time, because we want them to visit and connect. It is good to hear all of them enjoying one another’s company. It is important that our students feel confident engaging with others and learning how to converse. At 7:45 students are dismissed to their classes to begin their school day. School starts at 7:50, but we love it when students arrive in time for this special early morning social time. 

Spirit Week and Homecoming are right around the corner, October 2 -6. We have a full week of dress up days, a pep rally and parade. (As a reminder, mums are not worn at school.) It will be an exciting week and we hope your family can attend the parade and football game.
