Dear Parents,

Our Fall Showcases were an incredible success! The students put the thought of the week, "the more we practice, the better we get," to the test under the leadership of Coach T. They spent several weeks diligently preparing for the show, and their hard work and dedication truly paid off. It was wonderful to have you on campus and to witness the joy and excitement of our students as they showcased their talents. We hope you enjoyed watching your child shine on stage. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school. We look forward to sharing more special moments with you in the future.

Speech Screening: Your child will be bringing home a permission slip from Language Lions Therapy regarding a speech and language screening. This screening is a valuable opportunity for your child to receive an assessment of their speech and language skills. The screening will help determine if your child needs further speech and articulation work. The screening will be conducted by a licensed speech-language pathologist and will take approximately 10 minutes. Please review the permission slip and should you choose to opt in, return it to your child's teacher. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or Language Lions Therapy directly.

ECC 1st Wednesday: We had a wonderful turnout at our monthly ECC 1st Wednesday. Mrs. Novoselsky shared ideas on how to develop “Body Autonomy” within our children. Click here to read the article that Mrs. Novo referred to.

What’s happening around campus?

All School Canned Food Drive - November 11 - 22: Our annual food drive is underway for Mission Arlington. Upper School students are organizing this event for us. They have challenged ECC with collecting peanut butter, oatmeal, rice, mac & cheese, ramen noodles, and other canned goods. Thank you so much for helping your children select items and being generous with those in our community who are in need.

Wellness Wise:

  • November 15: “Failing Beautifully: A Workshop for the Recovering Perfectionist”  8:00 - 10:00 a.m. on the Bridge
  • December 13: “Legal Documents all Parents Should Have” and “Color of Feelings” 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. on the Bridge
