Dear Families,
Making a choice as a young child between the ages of 3 and 6 can be a very challenging task. This is a developmental stage where children are beginning to assert their independence and explore their autonomy, but they still lack the cognitive maturity and life experience to always make the best decisions. This week, students have been focused on “Good choices bring out my best self,” which has led to conversations about integrity. We do the right thing whether someone is watching or not.
Valentine’s Day Parties:
Join us on Friday, February 14, for our annual Valentine’s Day class parties. Party times and details are listed on the flyer below. A flyer containing your child’s classmates’ names was sent home via folders today to help you write out Valentines for each friend.
Book Fair:
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers of the OPC and the support of Mrs. DeWinter for their tireless efforts in organizing and hosting a truly exceptional Book Fair. The week long event successfully fostered a love of reading and provided students with access to a wide array of literary treasures.
ECC 1st Wednesday, February 5:
Next week, on February 5, we will be hosting our monthly ECC 1st Wednesday. I am excited to invite you to join and hear from a panel of our Oakridge Alpha and Omegas. Please see the flyer below for more details.
We appreciate your help in keeping our Oakridge Owls healthy! Please take a look at the following guidelines to ensure the well-being of our staff and students.
