Dear Parents,

On Wednesday, students jumped on the bus and traveled across the street to the Oakridge Athletic Complex (OAC), where they “made progress together” as they participated in our annual Boosterthon Fun Run Fundraiser. What an authentic way to practice our thought of the week, “We make progress together.” The money raised from Boosterthon allows our Oakridge Parents Club (OPC) opportunities to fund upgrades to our campus. Last year, the OPC used allocations to add outdoor water tables to the STEAM areas. Thank you, OPC! We appreciate you and all that you do to better our campus.

Parents, we need your help!
Parents, for the safety of our students, faculty, and staff, please ensure that you and your family wear security lanyards and use their car placards when on campus. If a loved one is visiting campus and does not have a lanyard, they will need to check in with their driver’s license at the main offices. This will be particularly helpful and necessary for entering campus directly after morning drop-off and directly before pick-up, where road access to both the main campus and the ECC will be closed. All cars entering campus will need to check in at the guard shack at the front of campus from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. after next week. Please contact Mrs. Carter (mcarter@theoakridgeschool.org) if you need additional car placards.

Sincerely,

Ashley
