Parents,

This week, we have discussed different ways to motivate each other. Sometimes, life can get hard, and we want to simply give up. However, we discussed how we could use our actions and words to motivate each other to try something new or give it another go. It brightens our days to see our youngest learners using their kindness to encourage one another.

Oncor Super Safe Kids:
Thank you to Oncor Super Safe Kids for hosting an engaging session that taught our students how to stay safe around electricity. Our ECC students enjoyed learning what to do in electrical emergencies and how to build a healthy relationship with electricity. 

Move-Up Socials:
Preschool and Pre-K Parents, please join us on February 27 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. for our annual Move-Up Evening. During this event, you will be able to meet teachers from the next grade level, learn about curricula, and exciting events that are to come in your child’s Oakridge journey. 

Kindergarten parents, be sure your calendars are marked for the annual Kindergarten to 1st Grade Social which will be hosted at Mr. Burgy’s home on March 3. If you have not already, please RSVP to mcarter@theoakridgeschool.org.
