Dear ECC Parents,

This week's thought of the week was centered around respect. During morning announcements, we discussed how you could show respect to yourself and those around you. Click here for a list of children's books to read with your family that centers around respect.

Fall Break brought us wonderful weather and time to recharge with our families. Students enjoyed putting their creativity to work this week by embracing the daily Homecoming Week dress-up themes. Our hallways were filled with bugs, campers, hikers, and tiny Oakridge fans. We hope to see many of you and your families as we cheer on the Varsity Football team this evening at 7:00 p.m. After the football game, fans will enjoy a gorgeous fireworks display.

Owl Fest, our annual Preschool through 4th grade Halloween carnival, is quickly approaching. The OPC asks families to donate individually wrapped candy next week during carpool for our Owl Fest celebration. Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to the carnival on Wednesday, October 26, from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Quad and S.A.C. on the main side of campus.
