Parents and students,

This has been an energetic and spirit-filled week!  Dean’s Day, theme dress, hallway decorations, advisory games, the parade, pep rally, and, we hope, a victorious football game, have made this Homecoming amongst the most memorable! 

In this email, you will find information about the following:

HOMECOMING: This is the perfect opportunity for Upper School students to get together and enjoy each other.  Shared experiences are key to building friendships and relationships.  You do not need to have a date to attend. Homecoming week is October 15-18. Game day is Friday, October 18. The homecoming dance is Saturday, October 19, in the MAC on campus from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20.00.  Any non-Oakridge student needs to have a guest form to attend. The guest forms are in the Upper School office. The dance is for students in the 9th grade or older. Students are breathalyzed upon entry, and if a student leaves before 9:30 pm, Mr. Andersen must be contacted at the time of departure from a parent. His cell is 817-319-4750.  

PARENT CONFERENCE DAY: Parent Conference Day in the Library is Friday, October 25. No classes are scheduled that day, so teachers are available to visit with you. You may schedule your appointment(s) here. If no slots are available to meet with a teacher, we are happy to schedule alternative times.
