November 22, 2024

Dear Lower School Parents,

You really came through on the food drive this week! We collected an impressive amount of food for our friends at Mission Arlington. The children were so excited to bring groceries each day and see the collection grow and grow until it covered the area in front of the office. It is good to know that our efforts will brighten many of our neighbors’ days.

Our thankful list was another encouragement. The list included such obvious things as parents and pets, but it also included comfy beds and Gaga ball. One child was insistent that black holes be added to the list of things we are thankful for; the reason was unclear, but we added it.

Grandparents’ and Grandfriends’ Day is always one of my favorite days. It is such a joy to see all of our guests, hear all of the laughter and share our school with these dear friends. Our Grandparents and friends are always full of excitement and compliments. What a blessing it is to have so many supportive people who love our students on campus for this special day!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful week of feasting and family time.

Blessings to you and yours,

Sarah Schecter
Head of Lower School
