Chad MacDonald, Head of Athletics

Dear Oakridge Community,

Today is my last official day as Head of Athletics for The Oakridge School. While I am excited about a new opportunity with the Colorado Rockies, I leave Oakridge knowing there is still more to accomplish, and that makes this moment bittersweet.

Every thought, new idea, and decision I made was aimed at improving the experience for our student-athletes. Our athletic department, coaches, teams, and student-athletes achieved milestones that had never been reached in our school’s history. Yet, those accomplishments are secondary to the relationships formed, the lessons learned in facing adversity, the accountability developed, and the confidence built. The smiles and memories shared will live on long after the final scores.

I have loved every minute at Oakridge, and I am deeply grateful to have been part of this community.
