Greetings, Middle School Families, 

This week has been filled with energy and excitement as our teachers prepare for the upcoming school year! The dialogue around implementing new instructional strategies, focusing on soft skills, and creating a nurturing and challenging environment has been paramount.

As we begin this journey together, we invite you to attend our Back-to-School Bash. Students will have an opportunity to meet their teachers and a chance to set up their lockers. On Monday, August 24th, we would love to see you at our Middle School (MS) Parent Night, where teachers will provide an overview of your child’s courses and expectations.

Class Trips

We look forward to 100% participation in these one-day excursions. Our class trips provide excellent learning opportunities, team bonding, and more importantly, fun memories for our students and teachers. For planning purposes, the trip cost is $150. Please register your child below:

CLICK HERE to download and print a “1st Day of School” sign. Snap a photo of your child on their first day of school and don’t forget to tag Oakridge if you post it on social media! 

We encourage you to join the 2026-2027 grade level REMIND Groups for quick reminders and updates.

Locker Set Up and Back-to-School Bash

Students are more than welcome to set up and store books/supplies in their lockers on Friday, August 14 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, and Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 - 11:30 am. 

Also, please note that our Divisional Meet the Teacher is on Saturday, August 15  from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Teachers will then head out to join in the exciting Back-To-School festivities on campus.

Finally, as we prepare for an incredible start to the school year, please mark these important dates on your calendar:

  • Saturday, August 15 – Family Back-to-School Bash, 9:00–11:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday, August 19 – First Day of School
  • Monday, August 24 – MS Parent Night (Parents Only), 6:00-7:30 PM
