Dear Lower School Parents,

We had a wonderful first week of school. It was fun to have everyone back and it was especially nice to welcome 28 new students and our sweet group of new first graders.

Parent Night was energetic and well attended. Thank you for making it a priority. I know it is hard on day two to make a third trip to Oakridge! If you still have any questions, contact the Lower School Office.

Morning carpool drop-off on the MAC porch is off to a great start! Please remember that drop-off begins as early as 7:30 a.m. At 7:45 a.m., students head to their classrooms from the MAC, and the school day starts at 7:50 a.m. For safety, our security team locks the rear entrance doors promptly at 7:50 a.m. Should you arrive after the doors are locked, please drive around to the main entrance by the flagpoles. From there, you can either park and walk your child inside to the Lower School office, or drop them off at the Upper School carpool line so they can walk across the quad to the Lower School doors near the office. From there, we will help them find their class.

Lower School dismisses at 2:50 p.m. We expect afternoon carpool to become smooth and efficient in a few days. After your child is safely in the car, you may pull forward and be on your way. Any students not picked up by the end of carpool will go to Owls’ Nest. If you have any questions about Owls’ Nest extended care, please contact Marissa Cox.
