Tamika Dees, Head of Middle School

The highlight of our week was spending time on campus with our grandparents and grandfriends. This annual occasion was an opportunity for us to showcase the amazing things happening in Middle School and to show our appreciation for those who mean so much to us. Activities included stained-glass window projects, a Generation Gap Kahoot, French Monopoly, Spanish Scrabble, and tabletop bowling. 

Our annual Spelling Bee is coming up soon! Students can participate in an optional qualifying round during Advisory on Wednesday, December 3. Spelling Bee word packets can be picked up from the Middle School baskets near the elevator.  We are excited to see our students take on this challenge! 

Please come out and join us from 9:0-11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, for the Turkey Toss at Mission Arlington. Our service is to remove the frozen turkeys from the walk-in freezers and begin the thawing process so they are ready for Thanksgiving. Families, friends, alumni, and students of all ages are welcome. Please remember to bring gloves and a jacket. 

The Holiday Treasures Gift Shop is an annual gift shop that provides an opportunity for ECC, Lower School, and Lower House Middle School students to “shop” for holiday gifts for family and friends.  Volunteers are needed to assist children with gift selection and gift wrapping.  Shifts are available every day throughout the week – morning, afternoon, or both.  If you are interested in volunteering, please click here to sign up. Semester Exam Information:  Dec 15 - Normal full school day (A)

Semester Exams: Tuesday - Friday for US and MS students (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Middle School Exam Schedule :

• Dec 16 - A2 / A5
• Dec 17 - B7 / A1
• Dec 18 - B9 / A4
• Dec 19 - B10 / B6 

*Students in grades 5-8 will follow the exam schedule.
