Greetings Middle School Families,

Ambassadors of Culture Day was an amazing experience for all students and families involved! Fifty-Five sixth graders embarked on a journey where they imagined life as a teenager in their chosen country. They were tasked to research what life would be like, design an idea for a trifold board, and create a digital storytelling board using an app called ThingLink. Each element of the project helped our students excel in ways that they couldn’t have even imagined.   We are proud of the work they did, the commitment they made to their project, and the results of a remarkable Ambassadors of Culture Day. Finally, our 5th graders had an opportunity to use their knowledge of aerodynamics to design and build rockets. This project allowed students to explore concepts such as forces and motion, as well as Newton’s Laws. In addition, the students used observation and data collection skills as they launched their rockets. It was rewarding to see the level of excitement and engagement as the students cheered each other on,  and watched in awe as the rockets soared in the sky. In Middle School, the sky is the limit!
