Dear Lower School Parents,

We had a great day on Thursday with our Teachers for the Day and Head of Lower School for the Day. The students worked hard and also enjoyed frequent breaks in the lounge eating their favorite snacks and visiting with the other student teachers. (If you want your child to be a Teacher for the Day or Head of Lower School for the Day, you will have another opportunity to bid next year at Super Supper.)

On Wednesday, our First Grade & Senior Buddies enjoyed their last gathering of the year. First graders began the celebratory time by singing, Make New Friends, a Friendship Song, to their Senior buddies. After a pizza picnic lunch in the Quad, we took a field trip to PlayGrand Adventures in Grand Prairie. Everyone seemed to enjoy playing together, and it was a sweet reminder of the deposits and connections made throughout the year!

Diffendoofer Day is one week away on Friday, April 17. This weekend is a good time to help your child polish their speech and gather any materials that are needed for their presentation. The students are excited for this unique day of learning and teaching.

Boosterthon kickoff is next Wednesday, April 15. We look forward to the daily character videos in P.E., as well as the Fun Run and prizes. 

Field Day is coming soon - May 8. Follow the link to view class colors and order a shirt before the April 20 deadline. Shirts will be delivered to students in class before Field Day. (Buying a shirt is optional, so if you choose not to purchase, your child can wear a shirt the same color as their class.)
