Dear Oakridge Family,

Tomorrow, we will graduate the Class of 2026. They will join a network of over 2,160 exceptional Oakridge alums, each of whom has made their mark on the world. Our graduating seniors have demonstrated incredible dedication and ambition this year, submitting 660 applications resulting in 374 offers of admission from 170 different colleges and universities.

It is exciting to see our students pursuing a wide range of opportunities from coast-to-coast, border-to-border, and internationally. I want to encourage you to take a walk through the quad this week; you will see the signs of where our students are going to continue their educational journeys. As impressive as the list is, what is more important is that each student has landed at the place that “fits” them the best.

The Class of 2026's success extends well beyond the admissions office. They have already been awarded more than $7 Million in merit-based scholarships, a testament to their hard work and the quality of their education at Oakridge. The Class of 2026 also boasts, 4 College Board National Recognition Scholars, 2 National Merit Finalists and 4 National Merit Commended Scholars, 3 AP Scholars, 8 AP Scholars with Honor, and 19 AP Scholars with Distinction. 11 of our graduates who will go on to play intercollegiate athletics, 4 at the Division 1 level. Many more students have indicated they plan on seeking futures in the visual and performing arts.

While all of this data is impressive, what is perhaps most important is how the Class of 2026 has embodied the mission and values of our school. They are not only intelligent, athletic, and artistic, but they have faced challenges with integrity, resilience, empathy, and purpose. They are examples of what we strive to have our students achieve, and they have set the bar high for those who come after them.

These achievements are a powerful demonstration of the return on investment in an Oakridge education. The success of our graduates clearly illustrates the exceptional preparation and opportunities provided here. The investment our families make pays significant dividends—not only in terms of these statistics, but more importantly, in the development of well-rounded individuals with the character and confidence to excel and make meaningful contributions to the world.

This… is Oakridge.

With pride,
