Dear Oakridge Family,

I wish I had the words to truly capture the magic of this past week at Oakridge. It has been a vibrant tapestry woven with the extraordinary talents, passions, and achievements of our students, stretching from the competitive fields in Houston back to the very heart of our campus.

In Houston, our Upper School baseball, softball, tennis, and track and field teams have been doing much more than just competing in the SPC Championships. They are pouring their souls into every game and race, embodying the sportsmanship and teamwork that define our athletic program. To witness their perseverance and their commitment to one another is to see the Oakridge spirit in its purest form, and it fills our entire community with immense pride.

That same sense of pride was felt on campus as we shared in the joy of our annual Walk to the Future. Watching our Kindergarteners embark on their transition to "the big school" is a beloved tradition that reminds us of the excitement of each new beginning, and their subsequent Spring Showcase provided a delightful display of talent (and a healthy dose of cuteness). Perhaps most poignant of all was the final week of classes for our Seniors. While they will remain on campus for Advanced Placement exams, we capped off their final week..

These events, in all their variety, are a testament to what makes this school so special. THIS IS OAKRIDGE—a community where we celebrate achievement in all its forms, uplift one another, and embrace the rich experiences that make us who we are. This momentum carries us right into next week, which concludes with one of my favorite culminating events: Fine Arts Night. I invite you all to come and enjoy the incredible talents of our Arts students.

Thank you for being such an integral part of this extraordinary community!

Warmly,

Matt Burgy
