Dear Families,
Students have spent the week learning that they are citizens of a community. When people do things together and take care of each other, they become part of a community. Communities are like families and people in communities are called citizens. As citizens of our school, we all need to work together to take care of both our buildings and our fellow citizens. ECC students spent the week looking for opportunities to be good citizens such as picking up trash, holding the door open or helping a fellow friend.
Book Options:
- Clifford’s Good Deed by Norman Bridwell
- Good People Everywhere by Lynea Gillen

Kindergarten Alphabet Parade: A is for awesome, B is for bright, C is for celebration - the hallways came alive on Wednesday for the amazing Kindergarten Alphabet Parade! Our Kindergarteners celebrated the end of their alphabet unit by parading through the ECC, proudly showcasing their fantastically decorated and homemade letter bag creations. The Preschool and Pre-K students, along with ECC faculty and staff lined the hallways to create a high-energy cheering section. What a spectacular way to recognize their hard work! We are proud of our Owl Scholars!

Phase Two After School Enrichment Programs Now Open!

Registration is now open through your Parent Portal — spaces are limited!
October 31, Parent-Teacher Conferences: On Friday, October 31, we will be hosting our fall Parent-Teacher Conferences. Teachers will share your child's strengths, including academic achievements and social-emotional development. They will also discuss areas where your child is working to improve, such as specific academic skills and fine motor development. We value these days as it provides time for the partnership between school and home to grow. If it has not already been added, your child’s teacher will be adding a Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up Genius link to Seesaw soon. *Please note: There will be NO SCHOOL for students on the designated Parent-Teacher Conference Days.

Warm regards,
