Dear Families,

This week, our St. Jude Trike-A-Thon celebration perfectly complemented our weekly theme: "Exercise my brain. Exercise my body." Students spent the week learning about riding safety, the importance of wearing a helmet, and staying safe. Watching the students ride around the ECC parking lot on their riding toys, accompanied by the police officer, was one of the sweetest memories. Thank you to everyone who donated to the cause and helped make a difference in a young child’s life.

Book Options:

  • Blackout by John Rocco
  • Good for Me and You by Mercer and Gina Mayer
  • Todd’s TV by James Proimos
  • Your Fantastic Elastic Brain by JoAnn Deak, Ph. D.

We’re proud of our wonderful Oakridge community—help us share it!
If you know friends, neighbors, or colleagues exploring school options, invite them to discover Oakridge through our Admission Events. Your recommendation is the best introduction!

Our first Admission event for prospective new families, Oakridge-Live! Early Childhood Center Edition, is Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. View all event dates and register here: Oakridge-Live!

Thank you to those of you who have already supported The Oakridge Fund for the 25-26 school year!

We are pleased to share that, coming off the excitement of Homecoming, the school is lucky to have an Alumni Parent donor who will match any donation made today through Sunday, October 12. Thus, any donation made this week will be worth double its usual value!

You can make a gift online here or one of the following tap-to-pay options (PayPal, Apple Pay, or Venmo - just search for The Oakridge School).

New this year, in The Oakridge Fund campaign, each grade is competing in a school-wide contest based not only on giving and fund participation, but also on spirit-based activities by our kids!  Watch this video to hear more details about this spirit challenge. Additionally, if your family didn’t see the flyers at the football game, we are collecting attendance to have grade levels earn more points. If your student attended the Friday Homecoming game, please complete this form.
