Dear Parents,

This week, students have been learning about the importance of using their time wisely, focusing on the principle of "first needs, then wants." Young children often struggle with transitioning from a preferred activity (wants) to a necessary task (needs). To help manage this, we use the simple phrase structure of "First, then"—for example, "First we eat our dinner, then we play"—and utilize visual aids like timers to make transitions clear and predictable.

Wednesday, April 1: ECC 1st Wednesday Calendar Chat and special visitor, Ms. Solby

On Wednesday, we enjoyed a visit from Ms. Solby, our counseling intern, who presented "Big Feelings, Calm Adults: A Parent's Guide to Co-Regulation." Ms. Solby introduced the concept of co-regulation and its role in helping young children manage large emotions. Click here to view Ms. Solby’s presentation.

Preschool & Pre-K Spring Showcases and PS-K Egg Hunt and Easter Parties

Thank you, Coach C and Coach T, for orchestrating such wonderful Spring Showcases! The students truly shined, demonstrating their beautiful singing voices and emerging public speaking skills with enthusiasm and confidence. We also extend a huge thank you to all the parents who hosted the festive Easter parties and helped with the Egg Hunt, making the afternoon a memorable and fun celebration for everyone.
