Dear Parents,

This week, students have been learning about the importance of personal space and how it makes us feel safe, respected, and comfortable when we “stay in our own bubble.” If we were to blow up a few soap bubbles and then touch them, what would happen? They would burst! If we get too close, we might pop someone else’s bubble and upset them. If someone gets too close to you, you are empowered to say, “I have my space and you have your space. Please get out of my bubble.”

The Kindergarten students traveled to the Big School on Tuesday to enjoy a special visit with their Junior Buddies. The weather cooperated and allowed us to enjoy the time outside. Usually, the Juniors travel down to the ECC for Junior-Kinder Buddy Days, so it was fun to join them on their side of campus.
