Dear Parents,
Grit, resilience and perseverance are all necessary skills for being a successful and productive member of society. This week, we have been recognizing that things are not always easy and that is okay. We try, try and try again. We have been repeating, “I can do hard things,” and reminding ourselves that we can overcome obstacles even when things feel heavy.
This past Saturday, we hosted nearly 30 prospective new students during our ECC Group Shadow Visit Day. We are thrilled by the positive community buzz surrounding the ECC, and we deeply appreciate your role in that. We always welcome new members to The Oakridge School family. If you know of neighbors, friends, or family who you feel would be a good fit, please encourage them to contact April Benjamin at abenjamin@theoakridgeschool.org to arrange a tour and visit day.
February 27- Parent-Teacher Conference Day - THANK YOU
We extend our sincere gratitude to each of you for joining us for our annual mid-year Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your partnership in prioritizing your child's academic and social-emotional growth is invaluable to our shared mission.
SAVE THE DATE! Wednesday, March 4 - “1st Wednesday”
During our monthly “ECC 1st Wednesday Chat,” we will dig into the spring calendar, discuss spring showcases and parties, and share best practices in parenting a 3 - 6 year old.
Warm regards,
Ashley Read, Oakridge Class of 2005
