Under the leadership of Head Coach Jeromy Flowers, the Oakridge Owls football team has soared through an undefeated 9–0 season and advanced to the championship games, continuing a tradition of excellence that defines Oakridge athletics. Coach Flowers brings energy, discipline, and a deep commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
With 20 years of coaching experience, including 15 as a head coach, Coach Flowers has a proven record of building winning programs and cultivating strong team culture. At Southwest Christian School (2016–2022), he guided the team to its first back-to-back District, Area, and Regional Championships and earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors three times. His leadership and impact have been recognized with multiple Coach of the Year awards and his induction into the Arlington Athletic Hall of Fame.
Before his coaching career, Coach Flowers was a four-sport standout from Arlington and a dual-sport scholarship athlete at the University of Arkansas, where he helped the Razorbacks capture an SEC West Championship and a Cotton Bowl victory. His college career included standout moments such as intercepting and sacking Tom Brady and recording a pick-six against Peyton Manning.
Coach Flowers’ passion for mentorship, accountability, and excellence continues to shape the Oakridge football program—on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
