Anime Club is open to all students. Members of the club enjoy social and community service projects. Examples of the club activities include creating and viewing DVD's, raising funds for humanitarian causes, and enjoying exotic snacks. Members have participated in local Anime conventions together.

Anthropology Club provides students with opportunities to participate in local archaeological activities. The club helps students gain a greater appreciation for prehistoric cultures of our area.

Art Club is a social and community service activity for all students. Students do not need to be in art classes to participate.

Calliope is a student-produced publication that celebrates the creative endeavors of upper school students. Included in the magazine are literary works, 2/D, 3/D and technological art, music and drama.

Computer Programming Team is a competition-directed group that participates in competitions in the Metroplex and the state.

French Club or Cercle français promotes and encourages an appreciation of French Culture.

Junior Optimist in the Youth is a branch of Optimist International. They support activities of our sponsoring club, East Fort Worth Optimist in activities that promote youth.

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is a peer leadership organization dedicated to addressing the issues of underage drinking, impaired driving, drug use, and other destructive decisions that teens are facing today.

Spanish Club promotes and encourages an appreciation of Spanish culture.

Student Council is an elected body consisting of four officers elected by the student body and four officers representing each class. The student Council receives support from the Student Advisory Council elected by the current officers.

Teens About Celebrating Culture is a club whose main purpose is to achieve unity in diversity. TACC also focuses on learning to embrace the different cultures, ethnicities, races, and religions of the world. Another main goal is to reach out beyond our school and do community service that promotes our goals.

The Teenage Republican Club has the purpose of informing young people of the views of the Republican Party and to provide them the opportunity to find political expression and recognition. The club collects, analyzes, discusses and disseminates information about the Republican Party. The club meets on a regular basis to discuss the current state of politics and has speakers come to foster understanding of the political process.

Whole Earth Club seeks to improve the environmental awareness of The Oakridge School. Members maintain the upper school recycling program, participate in fundraising for a senior science scholarship award through the poinsettia sale, and organize other ecological activities.

Young Democrats informs students of party views and provides them with opportunities for expression and recognition. Participation involves discussion and analyses of political issues and dissemination of information. Outside speakers are invited to enhance political experience.
