Honor Code

An Oakridge student will be honorable, trustworthy, and respectful at all times.

An important objective of The Oakridge School includes helping students understand the need for rules and assisting them in internalizing a code of conduct.  Inherent in the Honor Code is the respect for the individual, for the school, and for ethical guidelines.  The Oakridge School expects students to be committed to a safe learning environment for students, free from harassment, intimidation, or bullying.

All Oakridge students are expected to exhibit honorable, trustworthy, considerate, respectful, and responsible behavior.

While each student is held responsible for his/her behavior and any subsequent consequences, we expect families to cooperate with the school by discussing matters and principles of conduct at home.  It is important for each student to thoroughly understand how conduct affects character and reputation.
