Board of Regents
Mr. Chuck Reynolds, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Martin Sprocket and Gear, has been associated with The Oakridge School since 1992 and has served as a Regent since 2006. In August of 2012, Chuck was named Chairman of the Board of Regents. Prior to being appointed Board Chair, Chuck was a member of the Education and Finance Committees and, most recently, chaired the Finance Committee. Chuck and his wife, Holly, have also been actively involved with the Annual Fund, the Parents’ Club, the Booster Club, and the Super Supper and Auction.
Chuck and Holly have two children, both proud graduates of The Oakridge School. Rollin and Roxy – classes of 2006 and 2011, began their schooling at Oakridge in the Early Childhood Center and graduated with the distinction of Alpha and Omega. Rollin has since graduated from college and works in Dallas, Texas, and Roxy is a sophomore theatre major at American University.
According to Chuck, “The Oakridge School has been instrumental in preparing the educational foundation for both of my children. Holly and I are extremely grateful to the school’s faculty for their dedication, commitment, and genuine interest in helping us raise two well-rounded, well-adjusted kids.”
Chuck has kicked-off his two-year term as Chairman of the Board with great excitement and enthusiasm. “We have a talented Board, and I am humbled to serve in this capacity. I am enjoying working with families and friends on projects that relate to the next phase of development for the school and those which benefit all Oakridge students. Over the next two years, our board will focus on the successful implementation of the school’s long-range plan.”
