Since Oakridge’s beginning in 1979, the tradition of giving has always been important. That tradition of giving continues today as families, faculty, staff, alumni and friends support the school in its development efforts. Those closest to the school that have benefited most from what it offers students and the community, provide continued philanthropic support, affirming the school’s mission.
Gifts allow the school to start new programs, like the digital production class and also help strengthen existing ones like our lower school Living History Program. Gifts make financial aid available to qualified boys and girls and promote the work of Oakridge’s dedicated faculty and staff. Your gifts provide salaries and professional development, technology improvements, athletic activities, fine arts ventures, and student leadership training.
The ways in which you can financially support Oakridge are varied and rewarding. Participation by the entire Oakridge community is the key to our continued success. We invite you to get involved.
The Development Office is responsible for all fundraising efforts at The Oakridge School. In addition, the department oversees Alumni Relations and Special Events such as our Super Supper and Auction and the Owl Booster Club’s Golf Tournament, serves as liaison to the Parents’ Club and the Alumni Association, and publishes the annual report.
